I recently decided to see what all the hype was about. Let me just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette. The berry tones were a little intimidating to me but they are probably my favorite thing about the palette. This palette retails for $42 dollars but include 14 shadows – I believe some are make specifically for this palette! The shadows are smooth and buttery to touch and swatch nicely on the eyes. They also blend very easily so use a light hand! As for the packaging – the palette is a pretty mauve purple color and feels just like velvet with the ABH logo stamped in gold and of course the name of the palette in white. The brush it comes with is very good quality – with one fluffy tapered side good for blending and a small shadow brush great for highlighting your brow bone or packing on a shimmery shadow!
This palette is a great balance of color, matte, shimmer and neutrals. The versatility really justifies it’s price point – it’s a one and done product. My favorite shades in this palette are buon fresco, realgar, warm taupe & red ochre. I love to put any of the previous listed colors into the crease, blend it out and throw on primavera onto the lid for a pop of shimmer! This palette is just amazing and I am not surprised that it is sold out everywhere – I had to snag mine on Anastasia’s website before they went out of stock!
