I loved the formula of the other Huda Beauty lipstick that I own so I thought about getting another. Huda finally restocked on the Sephoras website (which it felt like I was waiting forEVER). Sephora’s website carries only a few of the shades which include: Spice Girl, Flirt, Bombshell, Venus and Trophy Wife. I thought Venus would be the most w
earable shade for my skin tone. I’m actually very glad that I picked up this shade. Like I said in my review on Flirt, the formula is amazing. As soon as it came in the mail, I applied it. I wore it for a few hours and I even ate and drank with it. It didn’t budge and I was impressed because I ate a sandwich. Eventually I wiped it off to see how it would reapply and it reapplied smoothly. I’m not sure why but this color didn’t accentuate my lip lines and actually made them very smooth. Even after long wear it did not make my lips feel try nor did I feel the urge to lick my lips. The color goes on a little light upon application, but as it dries down matte it begins to darken. Another thing that I really liked about Huda’s lipsticks in the doefoot applicator. It’s longer than most other doefoot applicators and I find it easier to line my lips with the product as well as getting the corners of my mouth without making a big mess.
