Okay so I’m sure you’ve seen this palette everywhere on youtube and instagram. NikkieTutorials, Kendall Alfred and Kathleen Lights all have promoted the Juvias Place palettes. I was starting to see their palettes becoming more and more popular and so I finally had to buy one! So I decided to buy the Nubian 2 Palette!
The Nubian 2 is full of beautiful jewel toned shadows, which is what originally drew me in. The original Nubian palette is full of warm neutral tones – which was too much like my Morphe 35O.
The Nubian 2 palette is the most “colorful” platte that I’ve bought so far and the quality is amazing. First of all, the pan sizes are gigantic compared the makeupgeek / mac shadows. The matte shades are very soft and creamy to the touch. The metallic and shimmers are also SUPER pigmented. The metallics are very soft and a little chunky so use a light hand!! I’ve been watching so many videos on all the different looks and it made me even more excited to get my hands on this palette!!
Sorry for the messy swatches, but all of the shimmer/ metallics are one swipe finger swatches!!! They also blend out very evenly and nicely – they are also very buildable!! The palette retails for $28.99 and I ended up using Nikkie’s promo code to save a few dollars. I would highly recommend this palette to anyone looking to try out colors and stepping away from their everyday routine!!
