Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer

Okay so the Peaches and Cream collection finally released in Sephora stores after a long week of online teasers! I was so excited about the mattifying setting spray and the powder but guess what I ended up getting? The bronzer! LOL

For some reason I am really loving bronzers lately. I never used to be into bronzing like this before but now its like the step in my makeup that I love doing! Something about bringing warmth to the face haha. This bronzer claims to be a “radiant matte bronzer” which just seems so weird to me because how can something be matte and radiant at the same time? What really caught my attention was the packaging, the pie design of the product and of course the smell. It smells like peaches and cream and I love smelling it. I kept smelling it at work like a weirdo. It swatched very nicely, very warm and no noticeable shimmers. I have never owned a bronzer that had a blush / highlight shade inside like this one does and I wanted something different.

So before I ended up purchasing it, I applied it in store and I loved the way I looked. I mean I already had some bronzer on but it gave my face a slight sheen / radiance without being overly glittery because I like my complexion matte.  I could also smell the product going and I mean I’m pretty sure someone shouldn’t be so obsessed with the way something smells but I cant help it. I was swirling all the colors are to make my own combination but when I took it home, I didn’t want to mess it up. I do have to note that the gold shimmer is a spray on because once you get past that level its not going to be super shimmery which is a good thing. I find that this bronzer did give my face a matte radiant finish, again I know how can that be?

What it is:  A radiance-boosting bronzer for a soft and flawless-looking complexion.

What it does: This must-have bronzer features four beautiful shades—Candied Peach (pink), Caramelized Peach (light brown), Golden Peach (medium brown), and Bronzed Peach (dark brown)—that effortlessly blend together to define and highlight skin for a soft, luminous look.

✔ Delivers the perfect blend of blush, bronzer, and highlighter
✔ Creates universal warmth
✔ Gives blendable, intense color payoff

I do agree with the claims of this collection and I am slowly falling into this Peaches and Cream business. But yeah you guys have you seen the new Peaches and Cream collection by Too Faced? I heard it’s going to be permanent and exclusive to Sephora! Would you guys like to see me incorporate this bronzer into a look? Let me know!

Also, I picked up a lipstick and the eye shadow palette would you guys like to see a review or swatches?

Random Collective Haul

Guys, I’m so sorry this first week back in class is already kicking my butt so hard but I promise I am trying! I have a few posts coming your way that I cant wait for you to see but for now, I’m just gonna show you how much of a shopaholic that I am because I just LOVE trying new products. (If you know me by now, that came out with so much sass) I’ve kind of just been holding on to these products for a bit so whatever I used I will give you guys my first initial thoughts on them.

Sephora Collection Make No Mistake Foundation and Concealer Stick in 08 Bamboo ($20)

I got so excited for this one because I have yet to find a good stick foundation that is more affordable than the expensive Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick because I don’t think I am ready to spend $46 on a foundation that is less than 1 ounce product wise. Anyway, because the discount was half off at the time I picked this one up. I have used it a handful of times and so far I really like it. Its medium coverage but very buildable. Its super easy to blend out and looks and feels like my skin but with a matte finish.

NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder ($3.99)

So I was in the store and randomly saw it sitting there and something told me to pick it up and guess what? I’ve been using it since I picked it up!! I use it to sent my under eye concealer and I even took a fluffy brush and dusted it all over my face. There wasn’t any flashback and I felt my makeup looked better toward the end of the day when I used this powder to set my foundation.

Sephora Collection Make No Mistake High Coverage Concealer in 09 Almond ($14)

One of my Sephora / Beauty Lover friends has been raving about this concealer and I trust everything she recommends to me because we have a similar skin type. I have yet to use it on my face but I have played with it on my hand and its SUPER pigmented, blends well and a little goes a long way! I plan on using this when I do a brows, concealer and powder day!

Kat Von D Shade and Light Quad in Sage ($15)

IMG_7709.JPGI got this because it was on sale for $15 and I really loved the huge tan shade because it is my perfect transition color and I felt like this would be a good palette to put in my bag and go with it.

Update: When I opened it, the tan shade fell out of its pan so I’m going have to glue it back in wahhh!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in Peachy ($18)

So knowing me, you guys KNOW that I love lipstick and had to pick up a few of these shades for their new lipstick line. A lot of people were raving about how pigmented and long wearing they were and I was sold. Peachy is a true peach and very warm, something that I currently do not have lipstick wise.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in Honey ($18)

Honey is probably my perfect everyday nude shade and I actually wore it as soon as I opened it up!

Cover FX Blotting Powder in Light

This is what I have been waiting to try. I needed a good powder to throw in my bag to control this oil! I took it to school and it worked out fabulous.

Anyways, thats my quick haul. What are some of the things you picked up recently? I would love to know!

Products I regret buying

So lately, I’ve been going through my makeup collection and pulling out things that I haven’t been using lately and trying to rotate and actually use everything. Doing this helps my remember / refresh me on how I feel about it.

I recently learned about the app Depop, where people sell their makeup, clothing and whatever else they have and they pay the app a commission on the sale and you keep the rest. It works just like Mercari and Poshmark, which are both buying & selling apps but Depop has cheaper shipping than Poshmark and I believe they take out a little less on commission. So anyways, I’ve been taking things out and putting them online to sell so that I can a. make more room and b. to make some extra cash! I’ve sold on Posh & Mercari a lot and I made over $600 by selling and trading. I think one of the best things about using these apps is that you can request a check in the mail or direct deposit into your account so you can use that money toward whatever you need to.

Anyways so this post is dedicated to the items that I regret purchasing and probably things I am selling / have sold on Posh, Mer or Depop! Oh, also because I obviously don’t have majority of these products anymore I will just link them.

Also, if you love any of these products please don’t take offense to this. These were the products that didn’t work for me.

Morphe 35O

I bought this for resale price, I think for $35 which is a rip off. This is the first big eyeshadow palette I purchased and I stopped using it after about a week. I recently came back to it and the pigmentation didn’t measure up to what I am used to.

Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Eclipse Skin Frost

I had high hopes for this one and I came to this conclusion: this highlight is DRY AS F. And, it crumbled on me when I tried to apply even more on top.

Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuits

Honestly I bought a few colors from Walgreens and ended up tossing some and giving the rest away. These liquid lipsticks were uncomfortable and super drying. The price point is great but I wasted like $30 on these, which I didn’t like.

Becca Aqua Luminous Foundation

To be honest I got the wrong shade and it is too pale on my skin and now I am into fuller coverage foundations but its good for super light coverage and dewey skin.

Colourpop Ulta Matte Liquid Lipsticks

By far the worst liquid lipstick formula I have tried. They are SOOO drying and they crumble and wear off like nobodies business. I would rather spend a bit more money for better quality.

Sephora Collection 10 Hour Wear Perfection Foundation

I hated this so much, I had to return it. It made my face feel greasy and didn’t last long at all on my skin.

DUO Brush on Adhesive

I wanted to love this because everyone else does but it sucked so bad my lashes looked so bad and they felt like they were gonna fall off at any second! Yikes I am sticking to my HOL Glue its truly the best one.

So yeah guys, these were just a few of the things (off the top of my head) that I regret purchasing. What are some of the things you regret purchasing? Let me know down below!

Collab: Anti Haul (Abby Uppington)

Hi guys I am back with another anti haul, since my first anti haul last month got a lot of great feedback and you guys said you enjoyed it. I am also sooo happy to be collaborating with the gorgeous Abby. I love her blog because she’s just like me – we LOVE our high end makeup products. She’s beautiful and one of the sweetest girls I have met on WordPress! So please please please, go leave her lots of love and tell her I sent you! And you should follow her!

I know I haven’t been the best with my “no buy”, because that honestly lasted ONE DAY! Ill get there. But anyways I have been seeing a lot of products that are coming out and I wanted to share my thoughts with you guys! Just forewarning, I’m going to be super straight forward in this post, sorry!

KKW Powder Contour Kit and Highlight Kit

Okay so her contour & highlight sticks were in my last post because of it being heavily overpriced and products were breaking like crazy. I saw her swatch these on snapchat, literally the most chalkiest / powdery things I have ever seen. Im over this contour kit phase, next.

Pat Macgrath Mothership (Collection?)  Eyeshadow Palettes

Personally I do not own any Pat Macgrath items because I have no idea who she is, her products are so expensive and they don’t really appeal to me. She’s know for putting 4 items into a plastic pouch, filling it with confetti and boom you wasted $80 on that. I saw these palettes and I was astounded at the price tag of $125! For that, pass.

Morphe x BrittanyBear Contour Brush Set

I dont know who this BrittanyBear is, and honestly I could care less. I already said that I was over this contouring phase and these brushes are just boring and those oval looking brushes look generic and very stiff. Also, I can get these brushes from TJ Maxx for really cheap.

DesixKatie X Dose of Colors Collab

The packaging of the highlighters and eyeshadow palette is to die for, but really do I need another highlighter or a palette that I have to use my fingers for it to work? Nope. Im bored with their lip products too, especially the fact that the components are all the same color making it hard to determine which color is which. I love you Desi, and Katie but sorry won’t be buying any of these.

Benefit Beauty Stowaways aka Collab with Beauty Influencers

I feel like I am the only person not bothered by this. I mean the kit of the minis is a great value at $32, but why do I need to buy them individually for a plastic sleeve with Laura Lee or Manny MUA’s face on it? When I take the sleeve off it looks like a normal Hoola bronzer. Sorry Benefit, love you but no thank you.

Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Collection

I hate everything about this collection. The packaging is childish and cheap looking – which isn’t acceptable because of the price you are paying. Her palette is boring, her mini lipsticks are just repeats of other shades, her makeup bag looks cheap and the price for that bejeweled liquid lipstick is bizarre. The only thing that I was considering getting was the Ultra Glows but they’re always sold out, no surprise there.

Kat Von D Creme Contour Palette

Kat, I love you babe but I do not need a creme contour kit, especially since I just willingly gave away my ABH cream contour kit to my bestfriend. Give us a brand new palette please because this contouring phase is boring!

Wet n Wild Midnight Mermaid Collection

I am tired of unicorn, halo and mermaid collections. Honestly how many mermaid collections are there already? I also don’t wear metallic lips or colorful liner. Wet n Wild makes some bomb highlighters but I don’t think this highlight will work on my skin.

Tarte 2017 Holiday Collection

Im just going to say this: Tarte please stop recycling old products, repackaging them into gaudy packaging and slapping a “limited edition, holiday collection” stick on it. When Trendmood leaked the images to your new holiday items I yawned because that packaging does not remind me of the holidays and I swear they look the same every year. Please come out with something new and innovative.

Becca “New/ Limited Edition” Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfecters

I dont trust when Becca says their skin perfecters are limited because they are releasing Smokey Quartz, which looks identical to the Rose Quartz one that came out last year just in different packaging. Nice one Becca, I am not falling for your tricks again.

Karrueche x Colourpop She Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is cute, it really is but I am just tired and frustrated with Colourpop right now that I don’t even want to bother with this. I don’t want to wait for a stupid restock, drop what I am doing a camp out on my computer for something that I am most likely not even going to get. Its not worth the stress. Also: side note yesterday when I went on the mobile website, the palette was in stock and allowed me to hit “add to bag” and it took it right out. I checked again the next day and it was “out of stock”.

Best Foundation for Oily / Combo Skin?

So recently I went down to Ala Moana Shopping Center, which is in Honolulu and I barely ever get out there because its pretty far from my house and there is always traffic down in Honolulu. I woke up super early for no reason and I decided to drive down there and check the mall out. It’s a huge mall with plenty of stores that aren’t available to me at the stores that are closer to me.

I ended up getting the new Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in the shade Medium. I was so excited to check it out because Tati (Glam Life Guru) reviewed it on her channel a few days ago saying that it was a big hit because of the coverage and the matte finish. I haven’t personally tried anything from Milk Makeup because I thought their things were a gimmick because of their packaging and their products being weird. Like I’ve said many times here, I have combination skin – I am oily in my T zone and normal everywhere else so finding a foundation to work with my skin is tough sometimes.

Okay, so heres the run down of the foundation. This product retails for $40 USD with 1 ounce which is standard for foundations and has full coverage.

Claims: Designed to make applying and wearing foundation easy, Blur Liquid Matte Foundation offers flawless full coverage at first swipe, leaving a smooth matte finish that looks and feels as light as air. Like Milk’s Blur Stick and Blur Spray, Blur Liquid Matte Foundation instantly minimizes the appearance of pores and imperfections using blurring microspheres, tiny powder-filled spheres that diffuse the light to leave a flawless, soft focus effect.

To keep the lightweight, water-based formula safe, Blur Liquid features an innovative airless tip to minimize air exposure and eliminate dripping—allowing your foundation to stay fresh, the color stay true, and all of it to stay inside the package, not dripping all over your bag.

My thoughts? I agree that this foundation is very high coverage. One little drop of this foundation gets the job done which is rare for me because if I do wear foundation to work I want to to have lots of coverage. I also really like how the foundation comes in a squeezey tube form I feel like its handy to throw in your bag and it looks great on my dresser. I do feel like if you want to sheer the coverage that you can use a sponge but I must prefer a brush with the foundation because of the formula. The foundation is very easy to apply and blend, it blended on the skin so effortlessly and flawlessly. Upon my first application the foundation was super lightweight and I couldn’t feel it on the skin throughout the day which I love because who wants to feel like they’re wearing a mask? Over the course of me trying this out, I noticed that my pores were very blurred out and my T zone didn’t get oily like it normally does. I did notice that this foundation can cake around the nose area if you put on too much and that it doesn’t play nicely with mattifying primers so I am still trying to find what I can use on my nose as a primer. The foundation does oxidize a tad bit which actually doesn’t bother me because its not too noticeable. I really do like this foundation a lot it wore all day and was perfect. I did get a bunch of compliments and people asking me about the foundation which I was very pleased about because that lets me know that its a good foundation!

Would I repurchase? I would repurchase this when the time comes which isn’t going to be for a long time because one drop of this foundation and you’re set to go. I feel like I will be wearing this a lot for school because its a quick application. I would definitely recommend this to my oily girls out there who need some coverage because this foundation is the BOMB! Also, it smells like oranges!! They also have about 16 shades in this line right now which could definitely be improved but the have some deep colors so everyone could try this foundation!

Okay, so I am sooo dumb and never took any pictures of me actually wearing the foundation but I know I did some snapchats about it. Best believe I was checking on it throughout the day and taking photos when I got home from a long day at work. I just wish that my store sold the Milk Makeup line so I could tell my clients about it and get some gratis haha!

What have you heard about this foundation? Have you tried it before? Let me know your thoughts!

Makeup Collection: Bronzers and Blushes

So I am thinking about starting a new series on my blog called “Makeup Collection” and breaking it down into different sections and products so that I can organize, compare and maybe declutter some products. I love watching these types of videos on Youtube, I have no idea why. I also love watching Makeup Declutters because I love seeing what people have and want to get rid of or keep and why. Anyways, since a bronzer was my most recent purchase I felt that it would be appropriate to start this series with bronzers. But, because I don’t have a lot of bronzers, I will be doing it with my blushes! If you are interested, keep on reading.

So I currently only have 3 bronzers, I would have 4 but guess what? My Physicians Formula Muru Muru Butter Bronzer cracked and decided to shatter all over my floor! Im so upset about it, and I wont be repurchasing it anytime soon because it did break and I didn’t even drop it! So in my collection I have:

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

This one is a cult favorite because it is has a matte finish, which I love to have because sometimes I’m not down to have a sheer / shimmery bronzer. I love this one because it is light and a bit ashy so that I can use it for a nice, natural bronze and I can even contour with it. I think that out of all over my bronzers, I get the most compliments / questions when I wear this one.

NARS Laguna Bronzer

This is yet another cult favorite, I believe that Laguna is the best selling bronzer that NARS has. I got this because at one point I was on a NARS kick, but I ended up loving this one because its very sheer and has a nice shimmer to it, giving me the summer glow all year round. I haven’t used this in a while, and I want to pick it up again especially since its the summer.

MAC Matte Bronze Bronzing Powder

I just picked this one up from Macys because I have been watching videos about some MAC bronzers and out of all the ones I swatched, this one was matte and not overly orange like the others. For some reason I am back on a MAC kick, I have been picking up some products from them lately, I know I shouldn’t but I am.

Bronzer Swatches:

IMG_6587.JPGTop to Bottom: Hoola, Laguna & Matte Bronze

I know, bronzer swatches are useless because obviously the way the apply to your face is going to be different but I swatched them so I can see and compare their tones. Hoola is more a true soft brown, Nars is a golden sheen brown and MAC is more of a reddish brown.

This year I have been all about blushes, previously I never really wear blushes but now I can see the difference it can make and how it give my face dimension!

NARS Blush in Madly

I like the color and tone of this blush but I barely use it because all of the NARS blushes have some shimmer in it, but like I said maybe I could use it in the summer because it is a nice neutral nude pink.

MAC Blush in Melba

I got this recently because I have been on the hunt for this one, I guess it is a popular shade because I could never find it at the MAC stores and counters around me. I’m glad I got it because it is a gorgeous pinky peach shade and looks so natural on the skin.

Stellar Eclipse Cosmic Blush in Flare

I got this blush in my gratis, not sure if I will be keeping this one because I am not a huge fan of shimmery blushes, it is a pretty color though.

Kat Von D Lolita Blush/Eyeshadow

This one is a limited edition item that was released about 2 months ago? Anyway Kat made a shade of blush / eyeshadow in the shade Lolita, which is her number one seller in her lipstick line. I love this as an eyeshadow but it is a great blush and not as dark as I thought it would be, because it is buildable.

Tarte Blush in Paarty

This is the blush in the Sephora birthday gift for this year, and this shade is exclusive to Sephora. It is a pretty baby pink but it translates well on the skin, very buildable.

NARS Blush in Goulue

This mini sized blush was the VIB Rouge gift from 2016, I’m going to be honest, I dont reach for this shade because it is a bit dark for me but we will see, because I am pretty dark right now because I have been going to the beach more often.

Blush Swatches:

Well those are all of the items in my bronzers and blushes stash, what are some of your bronzers / blushes in your collections? Also, is this a series that I should continue? Please let me know your thoughts on that. But thank you for reading!

COLLAB: Everyday Makeup Routine

Wow so this is the first (and hopefully not the last) time I am collaborating with one of my fellow beauty bloggers, Brooke Nicole Clarke. She’s a beauty from the UK and her blog is about beauty, and her life which I love. Please check her out HERE and send her lots of likes and comments!!!

Her post is HERE!

We decided on something easy for our first collab – an everyday makeup look. I wanted to do something super simple, quick and summer friendly. Here in Hawaii, the summers are the worst because of the rain, heat and humidity.

With that being said, this is my “lazy girl” or basic makeup look that I would wear everyday to school or to run errands, and even to work on the days I don’t wake up early for a full beat haha. I love this look/routine because its light coverage and very soft looking. When I go lighter on the complexion, I love to add falsies and sometimes wing it out to look more done up.

The products that I used:

  • Anastasia Pomade in Medium Brown
  • Loreal Brow Stylist Definer in Brunette
  • Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Custard
  • Wet n’ Wild Clear Lash and Brow Gel
  • L.A Girl Pro Concealer in Natural
  • Huda Beauty Rose Gold eyeshadow palette
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
  • Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara in Blackest Black
  • House of Lash Glue in black
  • Farsali Unicorn Essence Elixir
  • Cover FX Mattifying Primer with Anti Acne Treatment
  • Touch in Sol No Pore-blem Primer
  • Bare Minerals Matte Foundation in Golden Nude
  • Benefit Hoolah Bronzer
  • Wet n’ Wild Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals
  • Dr Jart Ceramidin Lip Balm in Mint
  • NYX Slide on lip liner in Sugar Glass
  • Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Ophelia
  • Kat Von D Lock it setting spray

The only product that I used today that I don’t really love it the Cover Fx primer, because it doesn’t control my oils at all! I got in last year and I’m working on project panning it so that I can make room for other primers that I like better and I will not be repurchasing this primer.

As for my routine, its pretty basic I fill, shape, clean up and set my brows and prime my eyelids with the LA girl concealer and set it with the Huda shadow in Bae. I went basic with the eyes, sweeping bae all over my lid and giving my eye some dimension and color by working Sandalwood into my crease and lining with the Trooper liner. After I apply my mascara and pop on my lashes, the eyes are complete! To prime my skin, I rub the Farsali Elixir in and follow with the mattifying primer on my nose then buffing it in and the smoothing primer all over my face. Before foundation I conceal some of my redness / blemishes with the Nars concealer because this foundation isn’t high coverage. I then apply my foundation all over with the brush that Bare Minerals suggests to use. Then I apply with Hoolah on my forehead and give my face some warmth by applying to the contour area on the cheeks, and follow up with highlighting my cheek bones and cupids bow with the powder highlighter. Lastly, I line my entire lips with the lip liner and go over with the Kat Von D lipstick and drench myself in setting spray!

So anyways, here is my completed look:

Ps: please don’t mind the designer bags under my eyes, I have not been sleeping all that well lately

I enjoyed collaborating with Brooke and hope to do it again in the future, again please go check this beauty out click here to see her blog and be sure to send her lots of love! I hope you guys enjoyed! Thanks for reading! XO

Sephora Pro Pigment Palette

So I know that I said I wasn’t going to buy any palettes but the Sephora Pro palettes came to my store early! All three palettes were released “early” online July 4th, when they were originally supposed to launch on the 13/14th. Unfortunately, we only received the Warm and Cool palettes, the Editorial edition palettes are still on the way, and I do plan on purchasing the Editorial palette.

When these palettes were leaked on Trendmood’s instagram, I was immediately interested. I told myself that I was going to get the Cool edition, but I ended up getting the Warm one because my eyes were immediately drawn to that one. It was just giving me Natasha Denona Sunset vibes, and we all know that I cant justify dropping $129 on an eyeshadow palette.  Before I started work, I was just swatching and playing with the palettes and had to put the Warm one on hold ASAP- because it was the last one. I was surprised that so many people were coming into the store and asking for the palette & purchasing – because of the hefty price tag of $68.

Honestly I was never a fan of the Sephora house brand until I started working there. From the beginning I knew that these palettes were going to have a better formula than the singles / quads that Sephora Collection has. This palette contains 28 shadows – 20 mattes and 8 shimmers/pigments. Contrary to what I thought, this palette has a lot of weight to it – it is not plastic cheap feeling like the Morphe palettes. It also has a large mirror, something that is great if you’re traveling, or even getting ready in the morning. I also enjoy the cardboard box / sleeve that it comes in and they even included Sephora pro tips and tricks to get certain looks. The last thing that I was really impressed with was that the palette comes with a plastic insert that has the shade names on it – and it can be taken out!

As for quality, I think this palette is really good for someone trying to expand their palette collection, and even a beginner. All of the shades are very pigmented when it comes to applying on the eyes, not just in finger swatches. The mattes are super buttery and the pigments are very soft and easy to blend. There is only one shade that I don’t love – it is the peach shade. Its a shimmer and it is not as soft as the others, its kind of stiff and gritty and you have to layer it way up to get the pigmentation you want. A lot of people say that the price is outrageous but I did the match, for $68 you get 28 shades, which brings each shade to about $2.40 which is even cheaper than Colourpop shadows.

Time for some swatches:

IMG_6111.JPGTop to Bottom: Canvas, Oat, Biscotti, Camel, Ochre, Saddle & Auburn

IMG_6112.JPGTop to Bottom: Sand,Brass, Clay, Copper, Bronzer, Adobe & Sandstone

IMG_6113.JPGTop to Bottom: Hazelnut, Khaki, Peach, Brick, Terracota, Burnt Umber & Chestnut

IMG_6114.JPGTop to Bottom: Brown Sugar, Caramel, Sepia, Coconut Shell, Cocoa, Cedar & Obsidian.

One thing that I want to note is that there is a lot of powder kick up with the shadows. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing because the Modern Renaissance has quite a lot of kick up and that is a wonderful palette. With that being said, this palette can get pretty messy/dirty quickly but with that plastic insert, you’ll be able to protect that big mirror from being dusted with all your shadows.

In all, I really enjoy this palette and I can see myself using it for everyday looks, and even for work because I can sell it to clients a little easier!

Collective Gratis Haul

So working at Sephora not only means a discount, it also mean gratis – or free products. On my first day of training I received a big bag full of makeup, hair care and skin care. I wanna say we get gratissed maybe once of twice a month depending on your position in the store. I also think it is awesome that we can train with brand reps who will give you gratis for wanting to learn about their brand. I started in May, so this haul is about a month and a half worth of product. To make it easier, Im gonna break up my products by category because I couldn’t photograph all of them together!

Skin Care

I ended up finding my favorite serums, which are the Ole Henriksen Truth serum and Invigorating Night Transformation serum. Ive been using these in my routine and its making a huge difference for brightening and clearing my skin. Philosophy also was so generous in giving us a bottle of purity, which is slowly becoming my go to cleanser when Im feeling too lazy to take off my makeup.

Color (Makeup)

First off: I was the most excited to get the Kat Von D tattoo liner (my holy grail), her foundation, eye palette and another setting spray. Another big hot for me is the Bare Minerals loose powder foundation, which works amazing with the brush! Its the perfect foundation for my lazy days. I am also loving the Becca creme highlighter in Champagne Pop! The other big winner for me are the Sephora Collection lip stains! Theres over 40 colors and they wear nicely.

Hair Care

The Deva Curl micellar buildup buster is my best friend after a long week using dry shampoos, oils and volumizing sprays – not to mention it smells like skittles. I feel like its a nice treat for my hair because it feels so silky smooth.

I know I have so many other products that are in my room somewhere – I really need to get more organization bins or a better storage system because my counter is over flowing!
